YOOCHOOSE LABS

In order to achieve technological leadership in the field of recommendation systems and to sustain this position, constant improvement and development of the YOOCHOOSE solution is necessary. Due to that, the business plan of YOOCHOOSE did include the setup of an R&D department right away. For that purpose, YOOCHOOSE LABS LTD was established on October 1, 2009, in Omer (Israel).

The task of YOOCHOOSE LABS is to constantly improve the YOOCHOOSE recommendation system and the used methods and algorithms. Only through intensive research and development will YOOCHOOSE be able to achieve the objective of technology leadership in the field of recommendation systems for media and the publishing sectors and to expand this into other areas.

Therefore, YOOCHOOSE LABS have joined the cooperation of Deutsche Telekom Laboratories in Berlin with Ben Gurion University (BGU) in Beer Sheva, Israel. In this cooperation, essential parts of the YOOCHOOSE solution were developed and a patent application has been filed. The YOOCHOOSE LABS also maintain a close relationship with BGU to promote the knowledge transfer between science and industry.
