Based in Cologne's Mediapark, YOOCHOOSE GmbH is a technology start-up for leading-edge recommender systems for media and e-commerce businesses. The software assets of YOOCHOOSE were created within a three-year development project by a consortium of multiple project partners from academia, media and the communications industry under the lead of Deutsche Telekom AG T-Laboratories.

Senior Sales Representative

You help us develop and realize segmentation, targeting and sales strategies specifically for our
recommendation services. You work with innovative business customers in pilot installations of high-performance recommendation and personalization technologies.

Your job responsibilities:

• Acquisition of projects from clients as well as expansion and maintenance of the existing contact network
• Management, realization, and monitoring of strategic projects
• Structuring and prioritization of requirements from our customers as directing input for our R&D
• division
• Design of individual proposals and tenders
• Development of marketing strategy and communication activities

Your profile:

• Several years of professional experience for a software vendor with high personal reputation
• Interest in new technologies and understanding of recommender systems as well as
• cloud-computing, personalization and content management.
• Industrial knowledge in the area of media/e-commerce and an intuitive sense of trends in
• the industry
• Methodological knowledge in project management and client managment
• Excellent language and presentation skills in German and English
